I, in turn, have felt the strong desire to hold Circles for others in my community, so that they could also find their ‘home’ within. Jalaja has been a great teacher/mentor in the practicalities of being a Circle facilitator. But her biggest teaching is in how to be present and in service to the heart of who we are, with all its sensitivities and complexities. She teaches ‘heart thinking’ and how to integrate this in a culture that holds more value on our thoughts and minds. I would say that my biggest growth through these last few years, is being able to access my more freely expressing heart which then allows even more access into the vastness of spirit/soul. I therefor call the Circles I hold ‘SoulCircle’. Preparing for Circle is my meditation, as I deeply listen to what is happening around me to choose the focus of the monthly group. Holding Circle is a gift for me, as it allows such real connection of depth with others, as we speak for ourselves and mirror for others.
It is an honor to provide and facilitate Circles for others. It is a way to be in service to others, and our planet. And being a participant in Circles continues to be a source of profound connection and healing for me. I am so grateful.
