Ways to Help
Volunteer Options
Invite your friends to visit our website and join our mailing list.
Helping us weave a web of supportive relationships is a very important way in which you can support us. Most of us know far more people than we realize. Who do you know? A celebrity who might love our work and be willing to endorse it? Someone who can arrange an interview with Jalaja Bonheim? A rabbi, minister or college professor who'd like to introduce Circlework to his or her community?

HOST A FUNDRAISING DISH TO PASS
In the face of the enormous suffering in our world you may wonder what difference you can make. Well, here's an easy and fun way you can help us empower women through our Circlework programming:
- Invite some friends over for a potluck dinner anytime before December 15th. Tell them that it's a fundraiser, and they'll be asked donate whatever they otherwise might have spent eating out (or more, if they want) to a great cause. If they want to bring friends, great!
- Get together, eat, drink, laugh, have fun. The host of the fundraising dish to pass can say a few words about the Institute for Circlework, and share a video or slide show from our web site.
- After watching the DVD, put a basket in the center, and ask your friends to make their donations (which of course are tax-deductible). Play some sweet music and suggest a few minutes of silence, so they can write their checks in peace. We'll send you donation envelopes for those who would like to donate cash or use a credit card.
It's as easy as that! Want to do it? Just email us when you know the date of your gathering, and we'll send you the DVD and donation envelopes.
And here's the best part:
- Raise $150, and you'll get a signed copy of Aphrodite's Daughters: Women's Sexual Stories and the Journey of the Soul.
- Raise $250, and we'll send you a signed copy of Aphrodite's Daughters plus a CD of her interview on New Dimensions Radio.
- Raise $500, and receive a gift certificate for an hour-long consultation with Jalaja to use yourself or give to someone you care about.
- Raise $1000, and we'll send you a complete set of Jalaja's CDs, plus a gift certificate for an hour-long consultation with Jalaja.

Alone we are powerless, but together, we can change the world!
BECOME A SOCIAL BOOKMARKING VOLUNTEER
What is Social Bookmarking?
Social bookmarking functions much like classic bookmarking techniques in your browser — a function that allows you to save the web addresses for sites you like or need frequently. Social bookmarking takes this to the next level by — you guessed it! — involving the human community.
Other people can see your bookmarks. With bookmark sharing, you can pass URLs on to others in your social bookmarking network.
Social bookmarking sites aggregate favorite pages from around the world. The more people who favorite a site, the better its social bookmarking rating.
What are some major social bookmarking sites?
Digg, StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us, Yahoo! Buzz, Reddit, Newsvine, and Propeller. All of them have their own unique ways of creating and indexing bookmarks.
How Can I Help?
Social Bookmarking volunteers work with the Institute for Circlework to make sure we are indexed and reviewed on social networking sites.
Interested? First, create an account on one or more of the social bookmarking sites above. Make sure you remain logged in by clicking "remember me" (unless you're on a public computer — you should never ask browsers to remember you if you are).
Then, navigate back to this web site and hover your mouse over the "Share" button below. You will see a suite of options. Click on the social bookmarking tool of your choice.
If you do not see your social bookmarking tool, click on "More." A box will appear with an extensive list of services you can use to share the Institute for Circlework. The box is in alphabetical order.
Clicking on a button will redirect you to a second page where your social bookmarking network of choice may ask you for information (a short review, a rating, or perhaps some keywords that are relevant to the Institute for Circlework).
