My name is Cara Stone, and I am the founder of Amagodda Connective Therapy (www.amagodda.com).
I am a trained Reiki Master in the Usui tradition and member of the ICRT, (International Center for Reiki Training), from which I received my Master Level Attunement at the inner-circle of Stonehenge.
I apprenticed in shamanic arts grounded in Lakota, Tibetan Bon and Celtic traditions, trained as a massage therapist and have completed over eight Circlework Trainings with Jalaja Bonheim and the Institute for Circlework. I offer private sessions and classes as well as facilitate different types of Healing Circles.
I strongly believe in the power of connectivity, that in helping people reconnect to their innate wisdom, purity and wholeness, personal and transformational miracles can happen. Circlework is a means to that end. It is a powerful, long lasting and time-proven way to facilitate the changes and connections needed for each one of us to remember and return to a place of complete alignment. The Circle creates a space of support and acceptance to help foster deeper healing like none other.
I experienced this, when as an over-extended young mother of three, I first stepped into the Circle with Jalaja. I was in need of deeper connection with others, with myself, and with God. I needed a radical shift to the way I was doing things and I needed to heal in myself that which was preventing me from recognizing and receiving the help I needed. During that first Circlework training, I was able to fully live out the questions I was asking and to gain clarity about the deeper needs that were surfacing for me. The preciousness of the presence of the other women participants combined with the vision, wisdom, strength, presence, and unwavering courage of Jalaja as the facilitator brought about for me the deepest of healings, a sense of being loved and belonging, as well as a profound experience of the interconnectedness of all Life.
I swear by the power of Jalaja’s Circlework and am blessed to be able to offer such Circles in my own community. I currently reside in the Hudson Valley of New York and continue to live and practice Circlework in my everyday life. Circlework informs everything I do. It is such a rich offering and gives ongoing support. I facilitate regular Circles in my area and in the Ithaca area as well, from time to time. Each class that I teach is also held in a Circle and utilizes the principles I learned in the Circlework trainings. It allows for the classes to go deeper and to offer more than I could have ever imagined to each one of my students.
The Circle is ancient and alive. I hope every woman and every one can experience the homecoming and healing that it has to offer. Blessed Be.
